Volt Surges Ahead Edition
The big news in Canada concerning plug-ins was the jump in sales of the Chevy Volt, selling 153 units in June, 76 more it had sold last month and the best result it had since last September.
As for the next model in the YTD ranking, the Nissan Leaf had a terrible sales month, with just 13 registrations, the worst result since November. According to Nissan, these low numbers are due to supply shortages that should be resolved in July, it will be interesting to see if then the japanese hatch also has a sales surge and if it is enough to endanger Volt's monthly leadership.
