Tesla Edition
We finally have some numbers regarding Australia this year, the available numbers are not bad, YTD sales are up 9%, with the EV Share stuck at 0.15%, the same result as last year, because the overall Australian auto market is in record levels.
The Outlander PHEV should continue in the lead, but Tesla is making its presence noted, closing in to the japanese SUV, hopefully the Californian model presence in Australian soil helps changing people minds regarding EV's.
As for the veteran Nissan Leaf , the japanese hatch had a slight increase regarding last year performance, result of the 30kWh version?
Looking to BMW i-models, the little i3 is down one position to Fourth, selling only 27 units, down 41% YoY, while the BMW i8 registered 7 units.

ReplyDeleteDear Jose Pontes, thank you for this great blog. Could you please clarify whether i3 sales refer to the battery-only oprion or to the plug-in hybrid option? Thank you!
