Leaf almost reaching the Quarter Million
Here the news are the rise-and-rise of the Model S, now in Second Place, although miles behind the e-mobility leader Nissan Leaf (Almost 250k!), with the Outlander PHEV also climbing two positions to #4 (And over 100.000 units).
The Toyota Prius Plug-In is still Fifth, despite being in runnout-mode for a while and it will still be there for a while, as the #6, the BYD Qin, is still some 17.000 units behind.
Sometimes we forget that despite being a rather weak plug-in, the Prius PHEV experienced tremendous success in the past and its second generation will probably do so as well, so its best not to rule out Toyota from the big EV players just yet.
Pl | Model | Sales |

2 | Tesla Model S | 132.020 |
3 | Chevrolet Volt | 117.394 |
