We start the month with the usual Swedish EV market, which registered 1.322 units, an improvement of 65% over the same period last year, with the EV Share hitting once again record heights, at 3.6% and YTD registrations reaching 12.195 units.
Looking at the monthly models ranking, the VW Passat GTE increased its winning streak to an amazing 10 consecutive months, with 295 units, but this time the race was closer than usual, with last year Best Seller, the Outlander PHEV, registering 280 units, its year best.
Looking at the remaining Top 5 seats, besides the usual local representatives (V60 in #3 and XC90 in #5), the surprise came from the Fourth Placed BMW i3, due to the arrival of the first volume batch of 33 kWh units, the German hot hatch delivered a record 95 units, 67 of them being BEV's, a significant number considering that the Range Extended units were the preferred flavor in this market.

Looking at the YTD ranking, the leader Passat GTE is in a league of its own, with 3.654 units and 30% share, while the remaining podium seats also look attributed, regarding the Best Selling BEV trophy, the Nissan Leaf has a 68 unit lead over the Tesla Model S, but considering the usual last-month-of-the-quarter-peak of the Californian model, that might not be enough to win this class.
There were few changes in the ranking, with the BMW i3 climbing one position to #8, the BMW 225xe Act. Tourer (37 units, new pb) displacing the Tesla Model X (32 units, a rather disappointing performance) back to #13, while the Audi Q7 e-Tron (20 units, new pb) kept jumping places, being now at #21.
The Hyundai Ioniq Electric had its first full month in this market, scoring 10 units, a positive result that might forecast a Top 10 place for the talented Korean next year.
On the EV manufacturers ranking, Volkswagen (35%, down 1%) has this market covered, with Volvo (16%) securing the runner-up status (A goof departure from the 2015 Fourth Place), while Mitsubishi (13%, up 1%) and BMW (13%, 1%) are running to secure the last place in the podium.

Combining November sales of regular hybrids with plug-ins, there were no big surprises, with the Toyota Auris Hybrid recovering the Top Spot, followed by the VW Passat GTE and Mitsu Outlander PHEV.
The other regular hybrid in the ranking, the Toyota Yaris Hybrid, is Fourth, with the Volvo V60 Plug-in closing this Top 5.
