Tesla Land
The Swiss EV market registered over 400 units last month, up 7% YoY, with the EV Share north of 2%.
In the race for the 2017 Best Seller title, if the beggining of the year the BMW i3 and Renault Zoe still sat in the Best Seller throne, Tesla models went in Ludicrous speed in the second quarter and have never looked back since, doing a rare 1-2 in the podium, with the Renault Zoe running from the BMW i3 in the race for the Bronze medal.
Looking at Tesla ICE competition, the Model S is behind the Big Three (Merc. E-Class - 1.841 units; BMW 5-Series - 1.540; Audi A6 - 866), in Fourth, while the Model X is Sixth, behind the Three Marys offerings (BMW X5, Audi Q7, Mercedes GLE), but also behind the Volvo XC90 (710) and Range Rover Sport (640), so once again, we get the feeling the SUV is not achieving the same level of success as its older brother.
