Surprise of the month |
Record Month
The Swiss PEV market broke into four digit results for the first time, by registering 1.083 units last month, up 181% YoY, with the PEV Share climbing to a record 2.6%.
In an off-peak month for Tesla, it was up for the BMW i3 and the Opel Ampera-e (Whaaat!?!?...) to pull the market up, with the Bimmer scoring 340 registrations, a new all-time record for a single model in Swiss lands, while the Opel model registered 130 units, its best result to date in Europe, allowing both nameplates to jump positions in the table, with the i3 reaching Second Place, while the Ampera-e surged to Fifth Place, a taste of what the Opel hatchback career would look like if it wasn't (severely) production constrained...
In the manufacturers ranking, BMW (26%, up 3%) profited from the i3 exceptional performance, to jump into the leadership, dropping Tesla (24%, down 4%) to Second Place, with Renault (9%, down 2%) in Third Place, trying to resist Volkswagen (8%) and Mercedes (7%), in the race for the Bronze medal.

I wonder how much the other models have sold ...
ReplyDeleteIf you can afford it .... Can you please indicate the sales figures of the top 40 models from next month?
I could do it, but...It's a whole lot of estimates!
Delete4.0% for the month!
ReplyDelete2.6% BEV.
0.1% EREV
1.3% PHEV
Up and up...!!
(BEV and EREV shares are based on official sales figures - 707 and 22)
(I understand that the total of PHEV sales is estimated)
