Caliente Edition
A whole 168 ev's were sold in Spain last month, which more than doubles the result of the same month in the previous year (78 units in July '13) and makes it the best selling month of the year.
The Renault Zoe sales were hot, with 41 registrations, a personal best for '14, climbing to #3 YTD, and allowing Renault to lead the brands ranking (28% vs 27% from Nissan).
The Leaf was second last month (30 units) and the BMW i3 third (29 sales, also personal best).

Final mention for the brilliant career of the Outlander PHEV, registering 27 units in July, climbing to #5 YTD and already being the best-selling PHEV in Spain. Will it bother the established front-runners? I wouldn't bet against it...

Wow, this must be one of the very few times the ZOE is nr 1 outside of France. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteHow did BYD sell an e6 though?
Renault was always strong in Spain (And Portugal, by the way), so it's one of those markets where the Zoe could do well.
DeleteThe BYD sale was a fleet deal, for a taxi, if i'm not mistaken.
