Stuck in second gear Edition
With 818 plug-ins sold in January, the German EV market still hasn't grown the way it would be expected, just like a bicycle racer stuck in second gear.
The BMW i3 (229 units sold) failed yet again to remove Smart from #1, with the third spot going for the VW e-Up!, thus removing foreign brands from the podium.

slight error in the chart, sum for January says 712, and s/b 818
ReplyDeleteThere is an error!!!
ReplyDeleteThe official website www.kba.de register 541 electric vehicles.
712 is a wrong count.
there is a typo in the total for the Twizy 25 --> 276
ReplyDeleteI think the difference with KBA figures is because they consider as electric vehicles only highway-capable all-electric and range-extended (Ampera) vehicles
Errors corrected, as for the kba data, they only consider pure electric cars, making it incomplete.
