Nissan Leaf past the Quarter Million, on its way to 300k
If Tesla and the Model S are spreading the EV word across the globe like no other, the Nissan Leaf is doing its work under the radar, but making it in an effective way, now counting almost 270.000 units sold, with this generation still crossing the 300.000 units mark this year.
Not bad, eh?
The sure values Chevrolet Volt and Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV follow, with the Prius Plug-In in Fifth, divided by 77.000 First Generation PiP and 12.000 from the Second Generation.
At the pace the Gen2 Prius is selling, expect the nameplate not only to distance itself from the closest rivals (BYD Qin, BMW i3, Renault Zoe...), but even maybe win a podium seat on next year survey.

ReplyDeleteAlso am I right only the Leaf and Tesla are 100% electric here?
