The V60 recovered its #2 spot |
V60 Strickes Back Edition
388 new EV's were registered last month, down 35% regarding the month before, dragging the EV Share fractionally down to 1,67%. But numbers are numbers, and looking at them from another perspective, the same month last year saw just 115 sales...
The Outlander PHEV (143 units) continues to rule the market, winning every single monthly trophy since last November, its first full sales month in Sweden. Talk about a suiting market...
If last month the Nissan Leaf sales went through the roof, this time it was Volvo's turn to respond, with the V60 Plug-In registering 94 sales, its best result since March '13, and even the thought dead C30 Electric had one registration to show...This sales peak allowed the V60 to recover the YTD Second Spot, relegating the Leaf back to #3.
Third this month we had the Tesla Model S (31 sales) and Fourth we have the Renault Zoe, now a regular presence in the monthly Top 5, while in #5 we have a little surprise, with the Prius Plug-In registering its best result since May, with 19 units sold.
At the bottom of the table we see two landings, the Citröen Berlingo Electrique (EV) sold its first nine units in Sweden, while the Kia Soul EV had landed, selling its first unit here.

Please update Netherlands September 2014 and Belgium August 2014.
ReplyDeleteSorry I forgot to add that it's TESLA sales !! for the above comment.
ReplyDeleteThey will be included in the "September" article.
ReplyDeleteYour YTD number for Tesla is incorrect. After August, it was 141, which was correct (I checked by adding prior months). Now, with 31 more in September, the YTD should be 172, not 192.
ReplyDeleteThere is also a small mistake in YTD number in Feb, which is carried over in the YTD number. But that mistake is just a difference of 4.
You are right, i will correct it.
