The Outlander PHEV has made a brilliant performance in th Old Albion |
Record Edition
Apart from the Leaf numbers, i don't have accurate data for the UK ev market, but the global numbers were so high, that i just had to publish it.
3.093 plug-ins were sold last month in the UK, not only it has broken its record by a mile (The previous record was around 1.000 units), but it is only the third market in Europe to reach such heights (The others were Norway and the Netherlands), as a consequence, the EV Share jumped to 0,42%, well above the 0,16% recorded last year.
The Leaf sold 851 units last month, its best performance ever in any european market, while the Outlander PHEV made a dutch-like performance, selling in the four digits area.

Model s is wrong as you just take others non uk, however this number includes ferrari and Lamborghini, they sell over 1000 per year and stuff like tata and exotic cars, so tesla much less imo
ReplyDeleteProbably you are right, but as i wrote on the title, this is a draft, so more than giving 50 more or 50 less, the important here is the exponential growth of the UK EV market as a whole.
Deletehas come to happened later than i thought but UK should stay as the best stronghold of leaf sales in Europe. Now that the world wide sales are stable above 5.000 I am already looking for pass the 8.000 monthly numbers, what means 100.000/year.
ReplyDeleteIf they update the battery with some kWh more that would be really easy to achieve.
My thoughts exactly!
