BMW i3 reigns supreme

The Swiss PEV market was up 32% last month, by registering 703 units, placing the 2018 registrations at 3,486 units, up 30% YoY, with the PEV Share at 2.8%.

In an off-peak month for Tesla, it was up for the BMW i3 to pull the market up, with the Bimmer winning May's Best Seller award, by scoring 108 registrations, increasing its lead over the Tesla Model S.

The Renault Zoe is Third, comfortably ahead of the VW e-Golf, making a 100%* Top 4, while the Top 10 has 8 BEVs...You can see where the market is going, right?

In the manufacturers ranking, BMW (25%) profits from the i3 performance and the extensive PHEV lineup to lead, leaving Tesla (14%) and Volkswagen (10%) well behind.

Renaut (9%) is just outside the podium, and could surpass VW anytime soon.
