Renault Zoe & Nissan Leaf March winners
The EV market in Spain registered 466 sales last month, up 9% YoY, an impressive feat considering that the 2017 incentives are still to be implemented...
YTD sales are also in the black (+25%), with the EV Share in record levels, close to 0.4%, it seems customers just got tired of waiting for the 2017 edition of the MOVEA incentives and just bought their EV's without any help.
This time we have two Best Sellers Of The Month instead of one, with the Renault Zoe and Nissan Leaf both scoring 89 units, if the French hatchback performance was expected, as it is benefiting from the ZE 40 bonus, the Japanese model is something of a surprise, scoring its best result in 12 months, when it made 90 registrations.
In the YTD ranking, the Outlander PHEV dropped two positions to Fourth, surpassed by the Nissan Leaf and the BMW i3, which scored a record 69 units (Only 27 were Rex).
Another BMW is rising in the ranking, with the 225xe Active Tourer reaching #5, with a record 24 registrations last month.
It seems the official arrival to Spain is doing wonders to Tesla, with the Model S delivering a record 33 units, which together with the 5 Model X also registered last month, was the best month ever for Tesla in this market, it seems the American manufacturer is finally taking off and the country is still having their Superchargers network installed...
On the manufacturers ranking, Renault (21%, down 5%) lost the leadershipto BMW (23%, up 5%), while and Nissan (14%) is now Third.
