BEVs sweep the Top-5 spots.ReplyDelete
Look at the lead of Tesla Model-3, its more than the next 3 combined and just 8K short of the combined of next 4. Wonderful performance from Tesla.
Now the MIC (Made in China) Model-3 goes on sale. Hopefully it may win in 2020 as well.
There is no reasonable doubt that Model 3 will easily win 2020 as well.Delete
2021 will be more interesting, especially with strong in-house competition from the Model Y; and ID.3 and/or ID.4x could also end up in a similar ballpark... Though it's a bit unclear what VW's actual production volume plans are for that year.
Are you saying the BAIC EU sold 22,000 in December?!ReplyDelete
Yep! The China article, to be published soon, will have some interesting numbers…Delete
Spoiler alert: The worst of the crisis is over.
It would be interesting to also see the historically top 5 at the end of Q4. Model 3 must be getting close to surpassing the Leaf to get to the pole position.
It is coming, maybe in February.Delete
If Nissan sold 70K Leafs in 2019, then the cumulative Leaf sales stands at 458K while cumulative Model-3 stands at 448K and thats a lead of 10K for Leaf.ReplyDelete
Conservatively I will say that in 1st 2 months of 2020, Model-3 will overtake Leaf.
Optimistically, it will overtake in just 1 month since MIC will give some boost.
