    2. Still a lot of people. Just because Google, Facebook and others are trying to kill it to keep you locked in their crap, doesn't mean they succeeded.

      To first anon: thanks.

  2. Thanks Jose Pontes
I did see the Germany, China & Europe sales.
I can see the exact sales # for Europe, but for China, its just mentioned as over 190.000 units.
For global sales, can you please provide exact # like for Europe.
I am sure, the global sales will cross 400.000 mark with China + Europe being above 368.000 units.

Its good to join a bigger group like cleantechnica who provide info for both renewable energy and electric transport.

When you get a chance, can you please publish every model crossing every 100.000 in sales.
For ex: Renault Zoe crossed the 300.000 mark last month and stands above 304.000.

Tesla Model 3 should hit 1.000.000 when June sales comes in.
BMW i3 is around 196.000, but it may take few more months to reach 200.000 since its a slow selling model.

  5. Nice: Tesla Model 3/Y takes top 2 spots. How many vultures & vampires in MSM said that Wuling miniev crushes Model 3 ignoring the size, price, range. Even BBC compared and said the same.
Why? Answer: 70% of worlds crude oil is traded in London.

Their aim is not to promote Wuling, but to crush Tesla, thinking that eventually all other electric automakers will fade.

We should ask them what they got to say about the 6,6% market share of plugins.

  6. Good to see Toyota Prius Plugin back in top 20. With a 40 km (EPA) range, 53 km/l (on electric) and 21 km/l (petrol), its a steller vehicle that what suppressed by toyota top management.

Changan Benni is another game changing small car which is better than Wuling Miniev with its 5 doors and a better range.

Model Y crosses 100.000 mark this year. This year, Miniev will outsell Model Y, but next year will be different story when Giga Berlin starts production.

And Mercedes GLC 300 e/de is kicked out of top 20.

    1. Yeah, the Toyota Prius PHEV deserved better luck. Or better parenting...

Anyway, your comments have given me an idea, i will post a "forum-like" last post on the EV Sales blog, where we can discuss the latest EV-related stuff, it could be related to the articles i publish on CT, or just something different, what do you think?

Even if only 2 or 3 people participate, and i take 2 or 3 weeks to chip in, i think it will be nice to exchange ideas...

    2. Thanks Jose Pontes: Just publishing the global sales alone at the end of every month in ev-sales.blogspot will be enough. Many of us who posted here did not post in CT. Probably we dont have a google/disqus a/c.

Similarly publishing a 1 million sales by either a make or a model is worth discussing.
Right now only Tesla sold 1 million (stands at more than 1,7 million) and is moving towards 2 million mark and Model 3 (stands above 1 million).

  7. Whoooo hoooo: Tesla production/sales break the 200.000 mark / quarter for the 1st time.
    Model S/X: 2340(Production) 1890(Sales)
    Model 3/Y: 204081(Production) 199360(Sales)
This means Model 3 sales crossed 1.000.000 magical mark.

1st electric car in the world to achieve this.
Tesla sales cross 1,7 million mark.
Ideally GM EV1 or Chevy Volt should have done this.
