Looking at the models ranking, the Nissan Leaf won the Best Selling EV title in Japan, repeating the 2011 title, but next year it will have to deal with the Outlander PHEV, ending the year on a strong note.

For some reason PiP sales in the English version was omitted. Based on these TMC figures, the Prius PHV has sold 48,600 units through Dec 2013, of which, 15,400 were sold in Japan. I hope these figures help you refine your estimates
