We are witnessing to a surprisingly stable market, with no changes in the Top 5 regarding the last survey, the Chevrolet Volt is still #1, benefiting from the uptick in sales of the Second Generation, thus distancing itself from the Second Place Nissan Leaf.
The Tesla Model S is Third, on its way to reach the Nissan Leaf, while the Second Generation Prius Plug-In (Aka Prius Prime) has helped the Japanese nameplate to recover the Fourth Place from the Ford Fusion Energi, now back at #5.

This ALL-TIME list puts into context the very high barrier that Elon Musk and Tesla will climb if they are to sell 500,000 model 3's [worldwide] in 2018. If/when its done it will be one of the most extraordinary changes to purchasing habits ever achieved.
