Another two models going for the Posh SUV Best Seller title |
2013 All Over Again - Heavy Weights Edition
The 3.712 new EV's registered last month represent almost four times as much sales as in October '14, representing the third highest sales month only behind the historic months of November (5.546) and December '13 (9.311).
This surge in sales has a lot to do with fiscal changes happening in January 1st, something that previously originated the sales rush of late 2013, so something along the lines of those historic months are bound to happen in the next two months.
This sales rush pulled the EV Share further North, it is now at a record 6.56%, with the market headed not only to beat the 2013 result (23.151 units), but probably to reach the

That is the first real delivery of the XC90 PHEV. It's worth noting that not even Sweden has recieved a batch yet. I guess they will deliver as many as possible to the Netherlands before the year ends before they continue with the rest of the orders around the globe.
ReplyDeleteAre you expecting similar numbers in Nov and Dec to 2013, 5K and 9K? I'm not expecting the Outlander to sell 5K in Dec but there are so many more models that I could see 9K being sold in Dec or is this to optimistic. Also why did the C350e sell less then in Sep? Is it because its just an estimate and your just being conservative.
ReplyDelete9k should be difficult to reach, but not impossible, as you said, there are several models contributing to the high numbers, so it wouldn't be surprising to get there.
ReplyDeleteAs for the C350e, the number it is an estimate because my source didn't separated the plug-in hybrid version from the regular hybrid, but even summing up both, the number is smaller than in other months, i guess Mercedes has availability issues and is not prioritizing NL over other markets.
