Austria February 2016

The two times ('13 & '14) Austria Best Selling EV is back to the top

Renault Zoe Back At #1

226 new EV's were registered in Austria last month, with sales up an amazing 150% YoY, with 499 units sold this year, last year record of 2.091 sales is set to fall even before Autumn sets in, consequently the EV Share also in all-time highs, being for the first time above the 1% barrier (1.07%).

Looking at the models ranking, we have a surprise in First Place, with the Renault Zoe returning to the most desired place in the ranking after a long absence, followed by its posh arch-rival, the BMW i3 and relegating the title bearer Tesla Model S to Third Place.

Looking elsewhere, strong showings from the Mercedes B250e, with 24 units, its personal best, also from the Kia Soul EV (34 units) and the VW e-Golf(!), which had its best result in over a year.

In the manufacturers ranking, Renault is back at #1 (23% Share), with BMW in Second (15%) and Tesla in the last place of the podium, with 14% share.
