Norway June 2013

Norway now can appreciate the Model S large trunk. Here in "normal" mode...

New Kid on Leaf's Block Edition

Besides the Leaf's feats in the general ranking and the record EV share that Norway has (3,53%), this year there wasn't much more to say about this market because Nissan's electric car owns nearly 80% of the market, leaving just a few scrums for the rest of the market.

...Now in a 7-seater configuration...
This month it's no different, with the Nissan Leaf reaching 4th this month in the general ranking (And 5th YTD), with 340 units sold and 3,1% share, with the rest of the plug-in market scoring just 57 sales.

The only change in the ranking was the Opel Ampera climbing one position to #6, changing positions with the Peugeot iOn.

...And finally, the innovative "frunk", at the front of the car.
However, at the bottom of the ranking landed one new model that promises to stir the market in the coming months: That's right, Tesla registered their first two units of the Model S in Norway and considering that it has a 1.000-plus waiting list in Norway for its 7-seater-electric-sports-sedan, is to be expected that in the coming months this new model should hit #2 YTD and even fight for #1 for some months.
