Tesla Land
The Swiss EV market registered over 600 units last month, up 96% YoY, with the EV Share climbing to a record 2.3%.
In the race for the 2017 Best Seller title, Tesla can already prepare the coronation ceremony, as the Model S (Best Seller last month, with86 units delivered, double of October '16) grabbed the leadership with both hands and has no intention of letting go, with the American brand possibly doing a rare 1-2 in the podium, as the Model X has over 100 units lead over the Renault Zoe and BMW i3, both probably more interested in racing for the Bronze medal than going after Tesla's models.
But looking at Tesla true competitors, the ICE competition, the Model S is behind the Big Three (Merc. E-Class - 2.260 units; BMW 5-Series - 1.887; Audi A6 - 1.009), in Fourth, so no big changes here, while the Model X is Fifth, up one position regarding August, it is still behind the usual Three Marys offerings (BMW X5, Audi Q7, Mercedes GLE), and the Volvo XC90 (894), but it has managed to overcome the Range Rover Sport (727), so despite getting the feeling the SUV is not achieving the same level of success as its older brother, it is slowly showing signs of improvement.
Below in the PEV ranking, the big news was the Opel Ampera-e jumping to #11, thanks to a record 57 deliveries (Now imagine how high would it go if it wasn't production constrained), while the VW e-Golf is also climbing, now at #14.

In the manufacturers ranking, Tesla (28%) is in the First position, followed by BMW (23%, down 1%), and Renault (11%, down 1%) is in Third, while keeping na eye on Volkswagen (8%), in Fourth.
