UK All-Time Top 5 (Until July '16)

Outlander PHEV Kingdom

This was the market with largest time difference, as the last time i did this survey, it was December '13, and it shows, as at that time the Outlander PHEV fever had not yet landed and the Leaf was King, in fact, the Japanese hatch is the sole survivor of those seemingly archaeological times, when the Renaults Kangoo ZE and Twizy(!) were present.

Now, we have the BMW i3 in Third, with its Renault Zoe arch-rival running close, while in Fifth we already have the fleet-buyers new darling, the Mercedes C350e.

  1. Hi Jose. I liked very much your Top 5 series, it would be nice to have it at least every six months. Congrats.
One note. RAC Foundation just published total registrations at the end of June 2016. Leaf and Mitsu figures are much lower, probably because of used imports to Norway and other neighboring countries, and because you are accounting for an additional month. However, RAC reported higher registration figures for the i3 (4,457), Zoe (4,339) and C350e (3,337) than your total sales through July. Considering you accounted for an additional month, and the fact that registrations can be lower than sales, but not the other way around, I think your sales figures for this three plug-ins might be underestimated actual sales.
